    COMMUNICATION 

    1. Your order will initially be confirmed via email.
    2. All further communication will be via WhatsApp messages only. Please don't reach us through phone calls, emails, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram as our time is mostly devoted to cooking and packing to bring you the best small-batch products. 

     

    ORDER PROCESSING

    1. Order processing typically takes 2 working days and occurs during business hours; 8am - 4pm, Monday through Friday excluding public holidays, Easter and year-end holiday season. For urgent orders, please WhatsApp us on 064 527 3067.
    2. Items with a shorter shelf life (e.g. kimchi) are made fresh to order and are shipped straight to your door. Availability of ingredients may affect processing time. Kimchi requires 3 working days to process. If your order contains kimchi, the package will be dispatched when the kimchi is ready to ship. Dumpling kits will only be made on Fridays. If your order contains a kit, the package will only be dispatched on Friday the week of your order.
    3. If we need more time to process the order, we will contact you prior to or on the morning of collection day latest. Delivery delays or failure from suppliers, especially on imported ingredients or fresh seafood, may occur during periods such as a lockdown.

       

      COLLECTION

      1. Select the 'Collect' option on the shipping page at check out and specify the date and time. We are open for collection from Wednesday to Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 8 -10am excluding public holidays, Easter and the year-end holiday season.
      2. Currently, we are operating with limited staff and fridge/freezer capacity. This ensures we can offer you the best quality at the best price. Please be mindful when selecting the collection date and time as it is difficult to accommodate last-minute changes. Any changes to collection time must be communicated via WhatsApp a minimum of 24 hours prior. Once packed, your order will be held for a maximum of 24 hours only.
      3. You will be provided with an access code on the morning of collection.
      4. Please give glass jars and ice packs to our staff for return. A credit will be released within 24 hours and emailed as a discount code.
      5. Products such as Dumplings, stocks and seafood are available for collection only.

       

      DELIVERY

      1. Currently, we only ship to Johannesburg and Pretoria. Delivery area is limited to where our courier companies, The Courier Guy and Fastway, cover without surcharge. Check our delivery areas.
      2. A fee of R 120 will be charged at the checkout.
      3. Standard delivery items: delivery takes 1-2 working days and is outside of our control. Delayed delivery is not grounds for return or refund.
      4. Temperature-sensitive items will be delivered same-day. We have no control over the delivery time. Please alert the receiver to proceed with the storage instructions immediately upon receipt of delivery. DIY dumpling kits and tofu are only dispatched on Fridays. In the event that same-day delivery is not possible (e.g. protest action, lockdown, the week of/after Black Friday), we will contact you to reschedule.  
      5. Items from Dumplingsstocks and seafood categories are not available for delivery and are available for collection only.
      6. It is important to supply the correct delivery address and contact details as only one delivery attempt will be made. Should an incorrect address, phone number or absence of receiver at home prevent the courier from completing delivery, your parcel will be returned to us. The cost to resend the parcel and replacement of temperature-sensitive items (e.g. frozen dumplings, stock) will be for your account.
      7. Delivery may be received and signed for by any person at the delivery address.
